It's not a new proposition. The Black vote has always been the most reliable part of the Democratic Party base. The black voted helped Barack Obama win North Carolina in 2008 on his way to winning the White House. The black vote also helped turn Dallas County blue in the mid 2000's and has been blue every since.
The Black and Brown vote has been taken for granted and the only way we will get those seats needed for a state house majority and to win the presidency is to make sure that the black and brown community along with the DCDP organize and come out in big numbers like in 2008.
In this town hall we will discuss ways to make sure that the votes of our black and brown communities are not taken for granted. We have a esteemed panel local and nationally that will be discussing and answering questions on how we plan on making sure we learn from the disappointment from 2016 doesn't happen again!
Thanks for donating to the Dallas County Democratic Party! Once you have submitted your donation, you will be assigned a pick-up location nearest you to get your sign.
