Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Concentration Camps

Friday July 12, 2019, 7:00 pm to 9:15 pm

Dallas City Hall 1500 Marilla St, Dallas, Texas 75201

Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Concentration Camps -- People will come together in solidarity at detention facilities, city halls, churches, federal buildings, community centers, parks, homes, etc. at over 600 (and growing) locations across the nation and the world. The events will include inspirational speeches from legislators, activists, and organizers. Here in Dallas, we will also be sharing specific calls to action - how to get involved, how to support local non-profits doing the front-line work, and how to show up as an ally. At 9:00 PM local time, a silent sea of candles will light up the nation and the world in a silent act of protest against the atrocities currently being inflicted upon refugees entering the United States of America.
