STATEMENT FROM KARDAL COLEMAN, CHAIR FOR DALLAS COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY, ON ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION OF FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP
The Dallas County Democratic Party works to protect voters and foster trust in the electoral process by expanding ballot access and protecting candidates, voters, and election staff against fear of political violence and voter intimidation.
Chairman of the Dallas County Democratic Party Kardal Coleman issued the following statement in response to the violence at Donald Trump’s July 13 rally:
“There is no place for political violence in our democracy. We also strongly condemn violence in every form. The Democratic Party has always and will always support a free democracy, and that starts with ensuring safe, free, and fair elections. To uphold our democracy, it is imperative that everyone, from top-of-the-ticket candidates to everyday voters, feel safe when they are participating in our democratic process.”
