President Joe Biden Ends Re-Election Campaign and Endorses
Vice President Kamala Harris
DALLAS, TX —
President Joe Biden has ended his reelection campaign, stating that he will stand down to focus solely on fulfilling his presidential duties. The Biden-Harris administration has delivered countless progressive accomplishments over the past four years, passing historic gun safety, environmental, and infrastructure legislation that has improved the lives of millions of Americans.
Following the announcement, President Biden took to X to formally endorse Vice President Kamala Harris, who has spent the past four years advocating fiercely for the protection of Americans’ rights and freedoms.
Dallas County Democratic Party Chair Kardal Coleman issued the following statement:
“The Dallas County Democratic Party is deeply grateful for President Biden’s public service over the past five decades. History books will remember his presidency as one marked by progress, hope, and humility. The Biden-Harris administration has truly delivered for Texans, dedicating $12 billion to improve our roads and bridges, making unprecedented inroads in increasing gun safety, and growing our economy from the bottom up and the middle out. Now, in another act of servitude to his country, President Biden is passing the torch to blaze a new and brighter future for all Americans.”
