Martin Luther King Jr. Parade

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once famously said, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it always bends towards justice." We saw the blue wave come to Dallas as we elected the largest number of Democrats to office in years. We saw the leadership in Congress once again back in Democratic hands. The progress we have seen since the midterm elections is lighting the beacon of justice once again. So, join us in unity as a Party in Dr. Martin Luther King's memory at this year's MLK Parade on January 21.

We will have a float with trailer, decked out in Democratic memorabilia. Assembly begins at 8 AM at Cleveland and Al Lipscomb Way, and the parade begins promptly at 10 AM. The route spans 1 mile, from Holmes St./MLK Jr. Blvd to Fair Park. All elected officials and candidates are welcome to walk alongside our float with campaign literature to hand out to parade attendees.

Thanks to our elected officials who are joining us:

Hon. Hector Garza
Hon. Ernest White
Hon. Angela King
Hon. Marian Brown
Hon. Margaret Jones-Johnson
Hon. Audrey Moorehead
Hon. Theresa Daniel
Hon. Sandra Jackson
